Petrobonds and exempt from payment of income tax

The measure is intended to comply with the strategy of the combined offer of bonds for U.S. $ 3,000 million “attractive” to “potential investors”.
PDVSA said it was prepared by the Ministry of Economy and Finance to increase “the attractiveness of the program” from 2014, 2015 and 2016, launched by the oil last week. The acquisition of these instruments “is not part of the foreign currency position of financial institutions”, set by the Central Bank at a maximum of 30%. BCV had announced this week that the bonds at 2019 and-2024 which were recently placed by the Government for nearly 5,000 million also will be part of that foreign currency position of financial institutions.
